T&T Waterfront Night Market returns to Port Lands

The T&T Waterfront Night Market is set to return to the Port Lands July 22 to 24.

The free annual event, now in its seventh year, is a three-night pop-up event packed with popular Asian street food and merchandise (think grilled meat and flashy toys) that attracts upwards of 70,000 people.

This year's market will feature more than 120 vendors showcasing various Asian-themed retail, cuisine and games as well as live performances, a kids’ zone, cooking demos, interactive karaoke and midway rides among other activities.

It's a fun cultural celebration, one that brings an authentic Asian night market experience to the new world while also managing to include and celebrate other cultures simultaneously. In a city as inherently diverse as Toronto, it's not surprising that the night market draws crowds.

T&T Supermarket plays host to the free weekend event at its Cherry Street location, and will run from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday, July 22, from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday, July 23 and from 4 to 10 p.m. Sunday, July 24 at 222 Cherry St.
