Zed*80 arcade bar brings craft beer and vintage games to the Danforth
/Pinball wizards take note, Zed*80 is now open on the Danforth with a focus on the near-perfect pairing of beer and games.
The latest addition to Toronto’s swell of arcade bars, Zed*80 is the brainchild of the team behind Tilt, the popular games bar in the city’s west end.
With a focus on old school arcade games, pinball, Ontario craft beer and food, the new arcade bar is catering to those who live for the nostalgia of the vintage arcade.
Five bucks buys you all-you-can-play games, and beer and rail drinks are also $5 as part of the kickoff. The full list of games and the menu has yet to be posted.
A welcome note on the website reads:
“Zed*80 is a different project, for me, it’s the realization of a dream that I’ve been working towards for the better part of my thirties. Sure, it’s an arcade (and a pretty kick-ass one at that), but I want this to be more than that, a place that brings together a diverse group of people and one where a community can form and grow around it. “
Zed*80 is now open at 185 Danforth Ave. Check out zedeighty.com for more info.
