Where to watch Toronto Blue Jays playoff games on the east side
/The Toronto Blue Jays are back in the post-season for a second consecutive year, and the city is celebrating October baseball at its finest. If you can't score tickets to the playoff games because, let's face it, they are insanely coveted, there are plenty of options for taking in all of the action in the comfort of Toronto's east end. Check out our quick guide on where to find viewing essentials — a table, TV and cold beer — and which east end spots have Blue Jays specials.
LEFT FIELD BREWERY
Ground zero for October baseball is our neighbourhood's very own Left Field Brewery. Watch the game in the brewery tap room and get meta by tasting a series of baseball-inspired beers. Left Field only serves until 9 p.m., but will remain open as long as games are on.

LITTLE AAA & AAA PUBLIC HOUSE
Little AAA on Queen East and the new AAA Public House in East Chinatown are getting into the playoff spirit by batting a buck off any order (food or drink) for anyone wearing Blue Jays gear during a game. It can be as simple as a Jays hat to get the promo on food and drinks. The bars have plenty of flat screens — with sound on during games — and kitchens turning out plates of Austin, Texas-style barbecue like smoked beef brisket, dry rub ribs and chicken and waffles. Come for the baseball, stay for the $5 house pints and $3 tequila specials.

KIDS TABLE
KT — aka Kids Table aka the sister restaurant to Aft Kitchen & Bar — serves up all of the best southern comfort food and barbecue of its next door neighbour but with a full-on sports vibe. Chef Mike says he's overseeing food for every Jays game so you can expect dishes like a smoke Texas melt made with chopped brisket and American cheese, and the Liriano Barbecubano made with smoked pork loin, gruyere, brisket mustard and pickles on a sweet egg roll. KT will also be doing stadium classics such as Coney Island dogs, frito pies and nachos. KT has $10 batch cocktails, all tall cans between $6 to $7.50 and Jack Daniels and Jim Beam for $4.

Kill two birds with one stone and get cleaned up with a fresh chop while cheering on the Jays. Just don't flinch too much when the bats light up or your haircut might have an explanation to go along with it. Both Cabbagetown and Leslieville locations are showing all Jays games including the World Series.
