More development coming to Leslieville and Riverside

Leslieville Riverside development

Development in Toronto's east side neighbourhoods of Leslieville and Riverside marches on. Queen and Logan may soon see a new six story building on the south west corner, according to a development application submitted by Daniels Corporation. The proposed development would include retail along Queen Street East and a total of 73 residential units where Jim's Restaurant and Anchored Social Club currently stand.

This development would be one of many proposed in the neighbourhood. There is an application to add 11 residential units above the new Dollarama and Bank of Montreal locationsat 772 Queen St. E. Some 354 residential units have been proposed in place of the existing Toyota dealership across from the New Broadview Hotel and, according to BlogTO, the St. Leslieville Church Lofts have been revived.

There are currently 38 development applications in Ward 30, with nine on Queen East alone. The full list can be viewed here.
