Good Things Cafe + Juice Bar brings healthy eats to Toronto's east end
/Summer is just around the corner, friends. And, that means it’s time to get serious about healthy living (even if those pesky resolutions you made in January are long forgotten).
Setting up shop to help keep you straight is Good Things, a new cafe and juice bar at Broadview and Dundas.
Co-owner Bianca Johnson's passion for healthy, wholesome and delicious food led her to undertaking Good Things.
"We created a space where anyone, ranging from plant-based to paleo can come and find something that they’ll love," she says. "We’ve kept all of our childhood favourites while elevating the food to a higher nutritional component, so you can be assured that you’ll leave feeling energized and satisfied on your way out."
Apart from coffee and juice, Good Things offers a menu of smoothies, power bowls, sandwiches, salads, wraps and baked goods. For toast lovers, there's a whole section of the menu dedicated to just that.
"Our food is made in house daily from whole, natural and mostly organic ingredients — we’re big on the dirty dozen — and we work closely with Ontario farmers to ensure that all of our ingredients are of the highest quality."
Good Things is now open at 235 Broadview Ave. Visit them on Facebook for more info.
