What's going on for Halloween on Toronto's east side
/Another Halloween season of fright festivities is underway. From fun-filled kid-friendly events to the strange and eerie tours of haunted sites, here is a round-up of things to do during Halloween in Toronto's east end.
SPOOKY BABY BOO AT LAZY DAISY CAFE
Take some adorably spooky photos of your little one all dressed up and ready for Halloween at the 2nd annual Spooky Baby Boo at Lazy Daisy Cafe. With a pop-up photobooth and costume contest, simply stop by, snap a quick one-minute picture of your little one all dressed up or book a 15-minute session ($50) and take home some adorable keepsakes. BARRIO HALLOWEEN PARTY
Head down to Barrio on Saturday Oct. 29 and/or Monday Oct. 31 at 10 p.m. for a special Halloween-themed event with complimentary buffet, DJ and killer drink specials that include 2 margaritas for $12 and $3 tequila shots.

TORONTO SILENT FILM FESTIVAL PRESENTS: THE MAN WHO LAUGHS AT FOX THEATRE
Get ready for Halloween by seeing the original inspiration for The Joker! Starring Conrad Veidt as Gwynplaine horrifically disfigured as a child when a permanent smile was carved into his face by a King enraged at his father’s treachery. HALLOWEEN ON CHURCH STREET
Every year on Halloween, Church Street proves Oct. 31 isn't just a day for kids. Church celebrates Halloween like no place else — shutting down the block from Alexander St. to Gloucester St. and transforming it into one of the biggest parties on the continent. Thousands of people put on the most creative and outrageous costumes and join the outdoor street party. HALLOWEEN BOO BARN AT RIVERDALE FARM
Let the kids don their costumes, then head to Riverdale Farm for the Halloween Boo Barn. A spooky haunt takes over Upper Francey Barn along with face painting and pumpkin carving (tools provided).
