Hot on the heels of the newly unveiled face of the Broadview Hotel, the corner of Queen and Broadview is about to get even hotter.
Eastbound Brewing has announced it will open a brewpub in the former space of Kimberley Jackson on Queen East in the heart of Riverside.
The new 3,500 square foot space will include an open-concept 80-seat kitchen, an in-house brewery with five fermenters and a bottle shop to take away beer.
The brewery is being launched by the husband-wife team of brewmaster David Lee, formerly of Kensington Brewing Company, Mill Street Brewery and Grand River Brewing, and chef Tara Lee of Bar Hop Brewco.
Eastbound Brewing is slated to launch sometime in early 2017.
