Five coolest finds at The Leslieville Flea
/The Leslieville Flea was sizzling last Sunday with hot weather and cool finds. Our friends at The Leslieville Flea made their top five picks from last Sunday’s edition.
Patina created by layers of paint make this metal chair from L&A Vintage a cool keeper.
Another fun surprise from one of our regulars, Sonja at Woo Hoo. This lightweight carry case unfolds into a go-anywhere table with umbrella. This one is destined for the WAYHOME Festival this weekend. Very cool concept, very cool festival.
Hold that door! This upcycled salvaged wood and metal table purchased at OBST is a just one example of the fantastic pieces made by the very talented Aussie, Matt Obst. My personal fave? This wood, metal and glass table. Very unique. Two were for sale on Sunday and both sold. You have to act fast to pick up one of Matt’s cool pieces.
These late 60’s illustrations from Absolutely Atomic are a cheerful addition to a child’s room.
Coolest vinyl at the Leslieville Flea? This metal box set from Public Image Ltd, aka PiL. The frontman, Johnny Lydon was also known as Johnny Rotten from the Sex Pistols. @Selector Records.
A big thank you to Indie 88’s street team for providing the cool tunes and the shade for our performers too. Music and sunshine — the perfect summer combo.
The next Leslieville Flea is taking place on Sunday, August 16th at Ashbridge Estate. For more details and to check out other items from past fleas, check out The Leslieville Flea website.
