The colourful sights and delectable tastes of South Asia will be showcased in the Gerrard India Bazaar July 22-23 during the Festival of South Asia.

Now in its 15th year, the event is the longest running outdoor South Asian festival of its kind in North America.

The free festivities will take place from noon to 11 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, and will shut down Gerrard St. East from Coxwell to Glenside avenues with live performances including dancing, fashion shows, and authentic South Asian cultural programs reflecting Indian, Afghani, Pakistani, Bengali and Sri Lankan cultures.

Presented by the Gerrard India Bazaar Business Improvement Area, the event will also include open-air Bollywood film screenings, food tastings and a beer garden from Left Field Brewery.
