Brika brings its formula for curated handmade goods to Riverside
/The market for artisinal goods is heating up in the east end with the opening of Brika.
The Toronto-based retailer, which got its start online and through a series of successful pop-ups, has set up shop along Queen East in Riverside.
Brika is the city's own version of Etsy, offering a curated selection of modern gifts, artisan crafts, home decor goods and accessesories, along with information about the people who make them.
The company opened its first permanent brick-and-mortar shop last year on Queen West, and launched a retail space inside Mississauga's Square One shopping mall earlier in 2016. Queen East will mark the third location for the growing brand.
