A real Quebec-style sugar shack is coming to Sugar Beach
/Sugar Beach, along Toronto's eastern waterfront, is getting a Quebec-style cabane à sucre, complete with maple taffy and traditional French Canadian music and food.
On the weekend of March 10-11, Sugar Shack TO will have everyone celebrating the last days of winter when it returns with two sugar shacks serving up maple taffy, ice activities, cabane à sucre delicacies and live music and entertainment.
The sugar shack, an authentic part of the winter-spring transition in Quebec, is really for anyone who loves maple syrup. That includes almost all of us.
The free, family friendly event will host a food marketplace where you'll find a variety of maple-infused treats, along with a sugar shack bar that offers beer, mulled cider and specialty liquor.
