Verbeek Glass Studio is a new working and teaching glass studio launched by local glass artist Layne Verbeek.

Located in Leslieville, the studio is a kiln-based glass studio that offers a wide range of classes for ages five and up with no experience necessary.

“Glass is an amazing material and people are continually surprised how good their first work comes out,” Verbeek says. “As there are many methods for cutting and working with glass, it is safe for all ages, and previous glass working or experience in art is not needed.”

Classes of up to 10 participants are a great option for date nights, get-togethers with friends and family events. Private classes can also be arranged.

The studio is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m at 250 Carlaw Ave. Check out verbeekglassstudio.com for more info.
