Toronto Flower Market moves to Riverside
/After two popular seasons on Queen West, the Toronto Flower Market has moved east to Riverside for its 2015 edition.
The Toronto Flower Market bills itself as celebrating locally grown flowers, the growers that cultivate them and the florists that style them. More than a dozen participating vendors have signed on to work with the market — including Carl&Rose, Pink Twig, La Primavera Farms — and bring stylish blooms to the neighbourhood. According the Riverside BIA, the first installment will feature spring favourites like tulips, hyacinth, hydrangea and lilacs.
The monthly market starts this weekend, Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 659 Queen St. E. It will also be running June 13, July 11, Aug. 8, Sept. 12 and Oct. 10.
