After shutting down for redevelopment, The Jam Factory is set to relaunch its event space in February 2017.

Near Queen and DVP, and featuring 3,000 square-feet of space, The Jam Factory became an east end hub for concerts, art shows and community workshops.

With a name paying homage to the industrious jam factory that used to call the place home as far back as 1868, the funky loft venue is making a comeback. Its reopening, according to an article in NOW, will welcome similar programming in addition to weddings, film screenings and dance rehearsal space.

The Jam Factory features a mix of brick, hardwood and steel, that has been left, for the most part, in its original condition. Upgrades to the washroom, stage and bar are currently underway.
