Jules Bistro opens Leslieville outpost on Queen East in former address of Edward Levesque
/Jules Bistro has taken over the space formerly occupied by longtime brunch stalwart Edward Levesque on Queen East in Leslieville.
The incoming restaurant is the third outpost of the French bistro which already has popular locations in the Fashion District at Spadina and Richmond, and on Queen St. W near Trinity Bellwoods Park.
The formula at Jules Bistro is French cuisine without the haute. The restaurant is known for its affordability and value whether it's a date night or a small group get-together.
The bistro also offers prix-fixe menus as well as a la carte classics like magret de canard, salmon tartare, nicoise salad, quiches and crepes.
The cote de boeuf for two — 24 oz. rib-eye, frites, mixed greens, ratatouille and spiced mayo — and a selection of larger sharing items like rack of lamb make it an easy choice for couples.
Jules Bistro is now open everyday from 5:30 p.m. - late at 1290 Queen St. E. Visit bistro-jules.com for more info.
