Hercinia Arts launches circus classes in Leslieville

Hercinia Arts, a collective of circus, dance and aerial artists specializing in theatrical performance, has opened its doors in Leslieville.
The performance company, which moved its studio from Liberty Village, offers classes open to youth and adults of all abilities, from absolute beginners to high-flying acrobats looking to polish their performance.
Hercinia Arts offers aerial and acrobatic instruction with classes in aerial silks (fabric), static trapeze, rope (corde lisse), hoop (lyra), acrobatics, flexibility and circus conditioning. Classes are kept to a maximum of four students to ensure instructor attention, personalized training, and lots of air time.
Hercinia's contemporary circus performances have been showcased throughout Canada from busker festivals to weddings and special events.
