Rock Lobster’s Leslieville location for sale

Rock Lobster

If you're in the market for a restaurant, Rock Lobster in Leslieville is for sale. According to a listing on commercial real estate site ICX.ca, the corner digs at Queen East and Curzon is up for grabs for a cool $250,000.

The restaurant has a total capacity for 68 inside and 130 on its three patios at the side, rear and narrow alleyway between buildings. The list price includes all indoor and patio furniture, bar stools, chairs, tables, fridges, stoves, sinks and serving equipment.

In an interview with Post City, Rock Lobster co-owner and chef Matt Dean Pettit said the location was originally opened in the form of a licensing deal and that new ownership would not necessarily have access to the same franchise opportunity.

Could this spell the end of easy local access to one of the best caesars in the city?

What the future concept holds for the space isn't quite clear, but given its unique character the location should receive plenty of interest.
