Nuit Blanche is bringing dusk-to-dawn art to Toronto's east end
/Nuit Blanche will be coming to the city's east end for the 2017 edition with an art exhibit taking place in Riverside.
Now in its 12th year, the all-night contemporary art event which has traditionally been focused in the west end, will stretch across the Don this year with a new collaboration between the Riverside BIA, Project Gallery and the Broadview Hotel.
The project theme “Since Now, From Then”, will see a cluster of programming located within the Queen St. East and Broadview Ave. corridor including a series of live performances, new media art projections, as well as "bold and atmospheric sculptures and installations."
According to the project page, "these captivating art projects merge art and architecture, technology and nature, as well as public and private spaces. They will all at once bring us to the present, reflect on the past and look to the future of the changing east end of Toronto."
Nuit Blanche will take place Sept. 30 starting at 7 p.m. until Oct. 1 at 7 a.m.
