Metallica set to rock Opera House for intimate charity show
/Local metal-heads, heads up: Metallica have announced plans to play a special, last-minute show in Toronto at the Opera House on Nov. 29.
Fresh off the release of their latest LP Hardwired…To Self-Destruct, the band just returned from London where they played at the House of Vans on album release day and will bring their new material to the small, intimate Toronto show.
“We can’t get enough of that hot, sweaty old-school small show vibe so, while we’re there, we plan to set foot on the stage at the historic Opera House for a special one-night-only Fifth Member show on Tuesday, Nov. 29,” Metallica said in a statement.
Fans that are part of the Fifth Members program have early access for a shot at buying a a pair of tickets (max) at the incredible price of $25.
Enter here for a chance at the pre-sale, which will take place on Wednesday (November 23) between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.. Full instructions will be emailed to members Nov. 22.
Non-Fifth members will have a chance to grab a maximum of two tickets for $100 each starting on Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
Proceeds from the show will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank. There will also be collection bins at the doors of the show and fans are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items.
