The tastes and experiences of Toronto's east end will be celebrated during an upcoming food and drink showcase.

Returning for its fourth year to a new location at Streetcar Crowsnest, the Leslieville Food & Drink Festival turns a spotlight on the community by promoting local talents — from chefs and sommeliers to artists and musicians — and the local businesses that support them.

The annual event, which is being organized by The VandenBerg House, will feature gourmet food, craft beer, wine and cocktails from neighbourhood restaurants, breweries and other local businesses.

The festival will have a food market and chef demos, oyster-shucking lessons and a cocktail competition, all backed by an ‘80s and ‘90s soundtrack.

Leslieville Food & Drink Festival is taking place at Streetcar Crowsnest on Thursday, June 6 and Friday, June 7 from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. Tickets are $25 and include a souvenir glass and access to all workshops.
