Impact Kitchen brings quick, healthy food to Corktown
/Impact Kitchen is the lastest business to set up shop in the rapidly changing neighbourhood of Corktown.
Clearly targeting those aspiring to live a healthy lifestyle and serving "minimally processed, nutrient-rich, real food," the King East startup is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Its nearly 5,000 square-foot open-concept environment is airy and energetic, boasting both an in-house espresso bar and juice bar along with plenty of prep area and seating space.
Breakfast runs from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and includes the power breakfast bowl with spinach, chorizo sausage, scrambled eggs, salsa fresca, sweet potato and squash mash, avocado and green onion for $9.95. Oatmeal, chia and granola yogurt options are also available.
Impact Kitchen's lunch menu starts at 11 a.m. and offers four salads ranging from $10 to $15 and three veggie power bowls from $12 to $15 with the option to add protein (chicken, salmon or steak) for an additional cost.
Dinner kicks in at 5 p.m. with four mains all priced at $8.95. Choose between spiced flank steak, roasted chicken, bison meatballs or a veggie bake. Sides like sweet potato, broccoli and roasted pineapple can be added on for $3.50.
