Cry If I Want To, a home decor and styling boutique in Leslieville, is shutting its doors at the end of the year.

Opened in 2008 by sisters Rochelle and Allison Straker, the shop has been the neighbourhood go-to for party essentials from cocktail shakers to funky pillows and everything in between. The shop is slated to close for good on Dec. 31.

"We're closing the retail side of our business and focusing on design," says Rochelle. "Specifically, custom stationery — we do tons of wedding invites — and custom wallpaper, interior and event design."

Almost all items are marked down at 50 per cent off as the owners prep for the transition of the business. So, there are lots of great deals for the holidays and between Christmas and New Years Day.

"We may extend into January if need be but we're hoping that Dec. 31 will be the last day open to the general public," Rochelle says. "We haven't settled our final location but for sure we'll be in the east end because we have an allergic reaction if we go out west, and we'll be in a studio as opposed to a store front."

Cry If I Want To is at 1175 Queen St. E. Visit cryifiwantto.com for more information.
