Carlaw + Dundas design concepts to be revealed at open house
/Plans are moving ahead with public realm improvements in the Carlaw-Dundas neighbourhood, and part of that involves an overhaul of the surface lot where Dundas St., Carlaw Ave. and Dickens St. meet — otherwise known locally as the Carlaw-Dundas triangle. It's part of the City's ongoing plan to strengthen the zone as a hub for small businesses and cultural activities.
On June 21, the first public open house — hosted by councillor Paula Fletcher and other city staff — will present preliminary design concepts for two of the project sites, and the short-list of design options for the Carlaw + Dundas Signature Marker Design Competition.
The open house will also be used to gather feedback on the preliminary design concepts from the local community and provide an update on the next steps in the process.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
Date: Tuesday, June 21
Time: 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (drop-in format)
