Ascari Enoteca among 10 Toronto restaurants featured in inaugural Giro d'Italia

A passion for the culinary spirit of the bel paese has, of course, long been celebrated, but now a new Toronto event will showcase the diverse cuisine of Italy.

Taking place Jan. 26 to Feb. 5, the inaugural Giro d'Italia will bring together 10 of Toronto's top Italian restaurants to celebrate the cuisine of 10 different regions in Italy.

Each restaurant will serve a four-course prezzo fisso (fixed price) dinner menu for $45 with select spots also offering a three-course lunch for $30. Leslieville's Ascari Enoteca is featured on the roster, which also includes Ardo, Enoteca Sociale, Quanto Basta, L'Unita, Zucca, Local Kitchen, Bricco, Locale Mercatto and Campagnolo.
