Leslieville, Toronto, ON – On Saturday, April 29th, 2017, Leslieville’s newly iconic children’s furniture and accessory store kids at home (181b Carlaw Ave.) will be hosting a Mother’s Day Portrait Event in support of Rethink Breast Cancer.
Photography will be provided by Leslieville/Beach family photographer Fun Love Photography, and cupcakes for all participants will be donated by the Leslieville location of Bobbette & Belle.
The event is offering 20 moms an opportunity to be in fresh modern portraits together with their children, and to help break the trend of mothers not appearing in photos (always being the ones taking the photos) and being left out of the family story told in photo albums. As a Mother’s Day event, families can gift the session to mothers as well.
Participants pay a $100 session fee with profits (60%) going to Toronto-based charity Rethink Breast Cancer. The fundraising goal is to raise $1200 or more for Rethink. Rethink Breast Cancer’s mission is to empower young people worldwide who are concerned about and affected by breast cancer. Rethink is the first ever Canadian charity to bring bold, relevant awareness to the 40s and under crowd; foster a new generation of young and influential breast cancer supporters; infuse sass and style into the cause; and, most importantly, respond to the unique needs of young women going through it.
Included in the session fee for each mom is a 15-minute portrait session on a clean, modern indoor set, cupcakes for each family member, and a modern and stylish metal print with presentation stand of any image from the session.
